A 62-year-old male carpenter working as a parquet floor fitter, with no previous skin disease, presented with an outbreak of itchy, erythematous and scaly lesions on the back of the hands, neck, cheeks, and forehead. He had experienced a similar episode 1month earlier. On both occasions, the patient had beenworking 48h earlier with an unusual parquet wood imported from Brazil, named garapia.
